The gimmick this trick is built around allows you to perform a wide variety of effects. For example, the spectator initials the top card in the stack of Swami cards. That card is set aside. Later on, after a card has been selected from the deck, the Swami is shown to have discovered the name of the selected card, which is written in his crystal ball.
